Responsibilities
The City of Waterloo Treasury functions include:
- Monitoring cash flow on a daily basis ensuring adequate cash is available for efficient City operation
- Investing excess funds to maximize resources with an emphasis on preservation of capital, as well as liquidity and returns
- Preparing financial information monthly
- Investing bond proceeds and drawing down funds for project expenditures
- Draw down funds from borrowings through Iowa Finance Authority and State Revolving Loan Funds
