Waterloo Recieves Asphalt Awards
The City of Waterloo received two awards at the Iowa Asphalt Convention. Dan Baker and Larry Crain were present to receive the awards. “Both are employees of the City and worked hard to make sure that these streets turned out as well as they could,” says Jamie Knutson, Interim City Engineer.
The projects recognized included: Fletcher Avenue between Highway 63, and University received the “Smoothness Award for Municipal Street Resurfacing”; and W. Parker Street from Longfellow Avenue to Burton Avenue received the “Smoothness Award for Municipal Street New Construction.”
