DOWNTOWN WATERLOO INTRODUCES FREE 15 MINUTE GRAB-N-GO SPACES

In partnership with the City of Waterloo, Main Street Waterloo is pleased to introduce the designation of more than 25, 15 minutes “Grab-n-Go” parking spaces throughout Downtown.

“We hope these new spaces will encourage our community to continue to patronize our locally-owned businesses in Downtown and make curbside pick-up and quick errands easier for all,” said Main Street Waterloo Executive Director Jessica Rucker. “We are constantly working with the City and businesses to find new ways to help improve our downtown.”

The new “Grab-n-Go” signs will be placed at parking spaces throughout Downtown Waterloo and are meant to provide easy access to Downtown businesses.  Customers can use these spaces for curbside pick-up services, when running in for a carry out order, dropping off a payment or paperwork, or any of their quick 15 minute or less errands.

The City has been a great partner to Main Street Waterloo and have worked hard to help us find ways to improve the Downtown experience for visitors.

Mayor Quentin Hart said, “It’s critical that we continue to do everything we can to support our small and locally-owned businesses.  These free 15-minute parking spaces are a small but important part of our larger efforts.”
