Quentin Hart, provided comment on the return of ALO’s twice-daily scheduled service, “We are pleased American Airlines will again have twice-daily service.  Scheduled air service is critical to the Cedar Valley’s overall economy and signals that life is returning to normal.”

Keith Kaspari, Airport Director at Waterloo Regional Airport, provided comment, “The return of twice-daily service at Waterloo is excellent news for the entire Cedar Valley.  With passengers located throughout the Cedar Valley Region, and wanting to get back in the air for visiting friends, family and to take a well-earned vacation that was limited due to the COVID pandemic, this schedule allows the flexibility to make an endless number of connections at Chicago with Flight 4081 departing at 9:35 a.m., where-as, for Flight-4311 departing at 6:44 p.m., allows Waterloo’s passengers to still either complete a full day’s work, while making connections to your final destination, especially as American Airlines continues to ramp up with additional departures to destinations all over the U.S. and international destinations, too.”

Kaspari continued, “Without question, once the COVID-19 pandemic is in the distant past, I very much look forward to passengers throughout the Cedar Valley returning to fly, and when they do return to flying for both business and leisure, my hope is that they will give Waterloo Regional Airport a hard look before beginning their travel from other regional airports in Iowa, or larger airports in Minnesota, so that we can exceed the expectations of officials at American for their decision to return twice-daily service to ALO.”

Kaspari closed with the final comment, “Since American Airlines is still operating on less than a full pre-COVID schedule, Kaspari recommends that passengers flying to and from Waterloo contact American Airlines reservations at 1-800-433-7300 or WWW.AA.COM.”
