American Airlines Announces November and Holiday Travel

Recently, American Airlines provided notice to City and Airport officials regarding the schedule for November and the Thanksgiving Holiday season schedule to/from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.

New Schedule Effective Tuesday, November, 2nd Thru Sunday, December 5th.

Notes:

  1. There is no morning arrival nor departure on Saturday, November 6th & 13th.
  2. There is no scheduled departure from Waterloo on Thursday, November 25th (Thanksgiving Day).

Keith Kaspari, Airport Director at Waterloo Regional Airport, provided comment, “The timely notice for a new schedule for Holiday season travel for Cedar Valley area passengers will provide our region’s passengers the ability to make their reservations well in advance to secure their travel. Additionally, as American Airlines continues to provide additional flights at their Chicago hub to more destinations throughout American’s extensive network of cities, will only be welcome news for our passengers.”

Kaspari closed with final comment, “Without question, as we continue to put the COVID-19 pandemic in our rear view mirror, I very much look forward to Cedar Valley area passengers returning to fly, and when they do return for either business or leisure travel, my hope is that they will give Waterloo Regional Airport another look before beginning their travel from other airports in either Iowa or Minnesota, so that we can eventually can get our passenger numbers back to - and eventually exceed our pre-COVID levels of travel.“
